We go almost every Tuesday night for $1.50 movie. Can save a lot of money but there are drawbacks. Table attendants are serving food at the beginning of the movie and getting paid at the end so there is a lot of disturbance. Then you have people eating making noise. And since it is only $1.50 the place is full....
While the food is not gormet and can be rather mundane, this is a pleasant venue with service that is good to fair (depending on the server). It's a great palce to catch a show and relax with some munchies and a cold brew. Take the crew and enjoy the show!

We go here way more often than we should. Tickets are cheaper than other theatres but they make up for it with food sales. The pizza is pretty good, chicken fingers are good, popcorn is always fresh and good. They have specials on Wednesdays with lower prices but it gets really busy on those days. Who can complain about $1.50 movies on Tuesdays....or their array of specials and coupons? Cinema Cafe just makes sense for families. My children prefer it to all the other theater brands. The chairs are comfy. The staff is friendly and effecient. The food is great (although they REALLY need some gluten free options). Try their pizza!
This is a good idea, they serve you food & drink during the movie. The seating was set up well & the food is very tasty. We enjoyed the movie too. Good service, can get a bit confusing in the dark but it worked out.

Cheap movie tickets and bar food. Not anything wonderful about the food but overall a much cheaper way to take the family out to a movie. They have the kind of food you would expect in a bar type environment (burgers, fries, pizza, nachos).

Love the idea of real food being served to you while watching a movie, I just wonder why this place has such a bad mildew smell, everytime we go, my 5 year pinches her nose and complains "mom, what is that bad smell?" You get used to it after a few minutes, but should we really get that as our first impression when entering the theater?? Spray some "smell goods" (as my daughter would call it)...
This theater is actually affordable. Admission prices are only $3.75 at night and $1.75 matinees. And only $1.00 all day Tuesday! Can you beat that?! The place is clean and the bbq sandwich is really good. My kids love the pizza and chicken...
someone please, tell the some of the employees to keep it down near the theatre near the kitchen. every time my movie is near the kitchen, some emploees are soooo loud that we can't hear the movie. we shouldnt have to get up and say something to them, thank you.

Went there yesterday to see Furry Vengence with 3 kids. Wonderful! The food was excellent, and the service was great. In my opinion, it's the only way to go to the movie with kids.
This is my FAVORITE theater. I always get a great seat and the chicken tenders and fries are banging. The servers really make me feel like they are there to ensure my FULL SATISFACTION. Oh yeah, did I mention the tickets are less than 2 bucks? Go figure. I am a customer for life. Thanks Cinema Cafe! Keep up the good work.
I wanted to let everyone know how great the Cinema Cafe at Greenbrier Mall is. You walk in and the place is so nice with lots of wood and stained glass. The theaters have great comfortable chairs and tables to eat your dinners or popcorn. Whatever you want. They come to your table instead of standing in long concession lines. How great is that! Service and food are not consistent--sometimes good other times horrible. As prices have increased it has become too much of a gamble---when it was less expensive we would take a chance but after the last several visits w/ either bad food, bad service or technical/mechanical problems we are less likely to return.
It is pretty relaxing way to watch a movie. They do have new releases at the VA Bch location. The food is marginal nothing great to rave about. If you get there late it is way to dark to see where you are going. If there is something wrong with your food you have to go find someone to help you. Very comfortable chairs.
Cinema Cafe is a great place to see a movie and also get something to eat. Movies are relatively cheap.
Me and my girls love this place! We love to go watch a movie and grab a good lunch. The way the theater is laid out you have a nice eating area and you can chat and have nice lighting. The service is pretty good. I highly recommend it. Priced right for a single mom with two kids.
