Not a place I would go out of my way for, but as a local dining establishment not too bad. We usually go here for breakfast on Sundays and it is usually pretty good standard breakfast fare. We eat weekend breakfast here about once a month and always leave satisfied. The omelets and scrambled eggs are always cooked to order, and the sausage and bacon are always good. Healthy? New place for me, return for my husband. He ordered breakfast & they use real eggs, the pancakes were huge, the grits were cooked perfectly. My wife and I had breakfast at the Chesterfield Diner and must say the meal was good but would rate it average. We had eggs, bacon, hash browns and biscuits. Nice casual down-home type diner. I've only had breakfast but it is done right at this place. It is a nice homey place to visit when you are out on the weekend.

I've been going to this place for years, and just keep going back. Breakfast is my favorite meal there, and whatever I order is always delicious. The waitresses go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Chesterfield Diner has some good homecooked food although some of their items are on the bland side. The prices are also very reasonable, some may even say cheap. The service is mostly good. I recommend you try it at least once.
