We enjoyed our stay at the Carlyle Suites. The room was clean and art deco modern. We had a little kitchen complete with dishes, silverware and pots and pans. We had no problem getting a free parking space in the hotels lot. There is a resturnat on the first floor that also offers room service if you don't want to go out or cook. Our room was large and airy with 5 windows. The staff were very nice. The only downsides were the lack of wi-fi (in the room, there was a plug in connection ) except for the lobby, and no towel bars in the bath. Check in was painless and they were very willing to hold our luggage on the last day while we went sightseeing.

I would recommend this hotel to others in terms of its attractive art deco style. It is especially impressive considering the reasonable rates and attractive surrounding neighborhood.

The staff at the hotel was very helpful and kind. The amenities that came with the room were above standard because normally you would only get a microwave and mini fridge and maybe a stove, but you also were given utensils, which is a step up, including pots. The room was spacious but also everything was close enough for comfort and it also contained 2 full sized beds that were like...

Excellent location. A lot of embassies in the area. Walking distance to Dupont Circle metro and a number of nice restaurants. Hotel seems to have been renovated not long ago. Had room 424, which was facing away from the street onto a narrow courtyard, not really airy and not really bright. Heard the lift at night. Fridge and iron/ ironing board were in the room, as well as cooking facilities....

My New Favorite Hotel in DC

Highly recommended--very nice room with a full kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, sink), Tempupedic beds, and ultra-fast wireless Internet (fastest I've ever seen in a hotel). It's pricey if you have to pay full price, but the deal I got through Skoosh was only a little over $100/night and was beyond worth it. Definitely will be staying here again.

The location near Dupont Circle is very convenient and the accommodations were comfortable and stylish. There was a small kitchenette and a modernized bathroom, yet the Art Deco details were preserved. The beds were wonderful. We got a great deal through Skoosh and were impressed with the value. There was a big mix-up as the hotel tried to evict me after one night. But I had the paperwork to show that I was, in fact, pre-paid for 4 nights. Still this is a decent place to stay and a very good location.

Awesome deal! Room was fantastic, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Shower pressure was the bomb, and the rooom was upscale. I'm booking again & again!

Friendly staff, residential hotel great for kids (kitchenette)...location near where I used to live in Dupont Circle so it made me feel a little like I lived there again...parking limited...walk to metro...great neighborhood!

A convenient and comfortable base for visiting & exploring DC. Very good value. The Carlyle Suites, Washington DC Are well situated 5mins walk from the Metro at Dupont Circle which is also the location for numerous restaurants and food outlets and less than 20 minute walk to White House. Staff friendly. Room good size. with well equippedkitchen. Bathroom has no bath but very good sized shower....
