Loved the owners! So very nice. Room was reasonably comfortable, but I didn't sleep well on the mattress. The breakfast was terrific and in a charming space. The location is terrific - within walking distance of the main historic downtown of Edenton and it's beautiful waterfront.

We decided to visit Edenton on our way home. We were very happy we did. The Captain's Quarters was an excellent choice--a lovely B&B with great hosts and within walking distance to everything. We stayed in Black Beard's room--nicely appointed, exceptionally clean and quiet--the bed was comfortable, too. Diane and Don were very friendly and accommodating. They went out of...

This was our first visit to Edenton and we definitely picked the right place to stay. Located in a residential neighborhood just a couple of blocks from the nice downtown area which has several good restaurants. Dining at the Captain's Table at the Captain's Quarters Inn B&B was a beautiful experience. They had a limited seating for Thanksgiving dinner, we enjoyed a small dining experience with several other tables. Most were travelers, as were we. The four course dinner was exceptional! Local produce was used when available. The wine pairings were perfect with each course and...

We recently stayed in their Inn, and had the pleasure of meeting this "terrific" couple. This B&B was nice but was lacking in some of the finer touches to elevate it to upscale. Although our room & bath were spacious, the furniture was not appropriate to the era of the house 1908.
