The restaurant will quickly let you know they are not affiliated with the Grand Ocean hotel in any way. The food is really good and reasonably priced. The drinks were good and there was a Reggae band who did an almost 3 hour set.Very good entertainment for a Sunday night.
I did not eat there, but if you want a nite of good entertainment this is the place to go. Has nitely entertainment, nice bar and open outdoor area.
Not really much of a selection and the food wasn't worth the money they charge. I did enjoy the burger I had, but the fries are kind of gross and limp.
so seriously i have woke up every morning craving thier eggs benedict. seriously very simple but the potatoes were slightly spicy i dont do spicy but i craved them and it was just perfect, enough of everything. the kids loved thier giant plate size of pancake no kidding could feed all three for one!. prices were really fair.
The service and food is poor but the location is great and the patio is the awesome. If they could get a better staff in place I would give this place ***** (five stars)
Great drinks. My husband and I went for drinks after dinner. We were wanting mojitos. We stopped in at 4 different bars on the beach and none of them served mojitos. Calypso had a variety of specialty mojitos and martinis. We each had 2 drinks, spent $32. We liked everything we had.
We stopped here for a drink and appetizer while walking the boardwalk. We sat outside, which was nice. We really enjoyed our food and drinks. I got a margarita and didn't realize it was $10 til I got the bill but it was so very good! All of us enjoyed our food.
They took 15 mins to even acknowledge us!! Acted like we weren't even there. When we finally said something, the girl said she wasn't our waitress.
