I got a decent sandwich and a GREAT bowl of soup here. I believe I got the corn chowder, and an avocado BLT or something like that. My boyfriend got a different sandwich and his was amazing. Mine just kept falling apart and it was annoying. The food was good, the location is central, and the atmosphere was nice/trendy.
Note to self: If it's late at night and I want soup, just make it myself. Soup should not look like it's a cup of rice pudding. I thought I had received the wrong order. It appears that they put everything through some sort of press or blender so you're essentially getting a cup of mush.

Hello, I have been a customer for about 4 years. The past three times I have gone the food has changed. I took a friend bragging about the place, and we were both very disappointed about our order. I found this place by accident about five years ago while in Salem for Halloween with a group....wasn't feeling well and wanted some soup. The lemon chicken rice was....and still is great. This place has THE best tofu soft serve ever! There's a huge selection of mix ins to choose from and they make it there while you wait so you know it's fresh. My go to is a mix of mango, banana, and strawberry, but my husband's peanut butter and chocolate chips was also amazing! Absolutely love this place!

Cafe Kushco has a great assortment of sandwiches and wraps, including many vegetarian options. I have never had a sandwich from here that I didn't like. This is also true for my carnivorous boyfriend who enjoys their meat-stuffed sandwiches.

Great lunch spot in Salem. Girlfriend and I came here for a last lunch out before she went home. I had heard of Cafe Kushco and knew that it was reknown for its frozen yogurt but we were surprised at the quality and taste of the food!
