This is one of my favorite restuarants and it's not far from my home which is really convenient. They have excellent food; some of my favorites are their country fried pork chop, chicken tenders, chicken fajitas, and fried catfish. They have a wide variety to choose from and a really friendly environment. I like it so much I even had my wedding rehearsal dinner there. This is without a doubt one of the best restuarants in Smithfield.
Great food, wonderful setting, nice staff... never too crowded...
The seafood at Cowling's is fantastic! Perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. Good luck getting scallops that big anywhere else local! Family atmosphere, very friendly wait staff.

Nice atmosphere and good food
The menu provides a lot of selections.... just a sandwich, salad or a dinner.... everything I've tried has been wonderful. We always ask for the same waitress (Janea... sorry about the spelling!!) BUT all the servers are good. Within a small community it's a nice place to eat!!
