Came in for Restaurant Week food was great and our server was really nice and upbeat! It did seem like the food came out a bit slow for the amount of people there, they should have had more than 2 servers working.
Liked it so much during restaurant week we made return reservations and invited friends. Especially enjoyed the ability to quietly converse. The music playing was great too. Looking forward to live music on Friday and Saturday.

Had brunch here a few weeks ago. Gorgeous walled and shaded patio for outside dining. Service was a tad slow but eggs, bacon, toast and coffee were excellent. Perfect ambiance for a slow paced brunch savoring the coffee.
We've been to C Street a handful of times for brunch and dinner and it is always very good. It tends to be on the quiet side which is a nice change from the many over the top noisy restaurants in town. They have a lovely outdoor patio and on the evening we went, a wonderful jazz trio. This is a wonderful restaurant in Richmond and every meal I've had has been very good. The soups are freshly made with unique flavoring and ingredients. The dishes are hearty and delicious. I keep trying to get to the desserts but have yet to make it, I truly enjoy the food. The porch dining is wonderful on a nice evening.
