Yorktown Beach is sooo much cleaner & there's so much more to do @ York beach! Bars restraunts Ben & jerrys Icecream shop, souviner stores etc...

A place to enjoy fishing when you don't see boats in front of the fishing pier casting their nets. So sad that the pier could not do something about it.

The trash cans need to be emptied! ! Wouldn't let a man bring his Styrofoam cooler on the pier (environmentally unsafe) but plastic bags and trash blowing in the water from the over running trash cans!!!

Love this pier it was a blast! My boys and I caught a mess of croakers this morning and were able to give them to another family! Thank u for the opportunity to bless others!

I grew up with this pier. It's a landmark for a lot of things :-) I love this pier

Very well maintained pier. well lit, clean and orderly. Fellow anglers are courteous. Plenty of sitting space with benches plentiful and plastic cutting boards ever 5 feet along the railing. Measuring stands available as well as concession stands.

The pier remains open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until December 31. The only time the pier will close is during extremely bad weather i.e. Nor'easters, hurricanes etc. The Pier will be completely closed January through March.
