One of my favorites !! All the employees are awesome and the food, of course, is great. Lots of choices, but my favorite is the BBQ. Try it, you won't regret it.
I was not served. Stood at the counter 20 mins and was ignored by the blonde lady that works the front counter. Left without receiving my order. If your black/brown don't buy or frequent this...
Soooo disappointed just ate here today and i should have known better because we were the only two going to the buffet during our visit now my stomach hurts. Shrimp batter was half cooked on the...
Tried this place for the first time tonight-we like it. Had the buffet, the pulled pork was delicious-they can bring you a sweet sauce if you like-the tables have vinegar based sauce. I enjoyed...
Typical BBQ dining -- no frills atmosphere but what they lack there is more than made up for with the food, excellently prepared and generous servings.
Although I have had their food when they catered work parties, this was the first time we have eaten in the restaurant. Not much atmosphere but visited there on a Tuesday night for their buffet. Good barbecue, very good fried chicken, good hushpuppies, very good cole slaw and potato salad. Friendly staff.
Portions are okay. Food is great. It's not the best BBQ ever, but definitely great. I love the sides too. Very nice people as well
Excellent service and a great buffet for the price. Came here for lunch and it was $8 for the buffet. Waitress refilled my lemonade with a full glass without ice so i could pour it into my current...
Brocks use to be one of the best, however they have not grown over the years and it shows. The decor is old and needs a remodel. The food is okay, but not as good as it once was. Still for a lunch to get you past the pains of hunger, it will do.
Brocks BBQ is very friendly and their quality and quantity is hard to beat for the price. They have a buffet that lacks for nothing and their variety is one of the best. Totally homestyle preparation and a very country-family oriented staff…we love this place!
Not the best bar-b-q I've ever had, and sides are overcooked and not exactly tasty. If I want good bar-b-q, I'll go south of the state line to NC.
BEST FRIED PORKCHOPS EVER! EXCELLENT CATERING SERVICES, AND REALLY NICE PEOPLE! Carol is so sweet. :).They cater at my work Mondays, unfortunately I'm not there that day but it's almost worth changing my schedule! Tim makes great macaroni salad, I don't even like it unless he makes it! (Sorry, I can't comment on the restaurant itself, but they are such nice people I'm positive they'd fix whatever the problem was for the others that commented if they'd just ask!)
Brock's is one of those neighborhood hangouts that serve good food at a good price. The BBQ and chicken on the buffet are great. There are lots of different items available. Soup, chilli, mashed potatoes, hush puppies, fish, beef, desserts etc.. It is a casual/comfortable atmosphere. Service is always top of the line and the prices are very reasonable.
I have been to Brocks Bar B-Q several times and each time I have chosen to enjoy the bufffet. They have so many great choices that it would please everyone. I specially love their hushpuppies the ones with the corn....Give it a try and see what you think
Food on the buffet is dried out and over cooked from standing too long. Prices are high for off the menue options. Canned (and mushy) veggie sides. Overall, outdated dining that doesn't offer any reason to return.
If you are hungry a dumpster might be more appealing than eating at this nasty tasting place. The food has no seasoning and the pork was made 2 weeks earlier. These old people that work and cook there have no clue what good food is supposed to be! I do not and will not recommend anyone to even try this place to eat. The service is twice as bad..
Pros
+ food good if your homeless
Locally owned and operated by some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They are known throughout the area for their BBQ and terrific catering service. Always reliable when it comes to service and quality. We like their nightly buffet best. Prices are very reasonable. Two adults can eat for around $20-25 tops.
Brock's is nothing really fancy but the food is really good and is priced right. We've always gotten really good service there too. You wi...
This little bbq place has some of the best southern cuisine around. Every night, they sport a very reasonably priced buffet, usually around ...
Brock's is good if you want satisfactory ribs and BBQ. They used to be the best ribs in town. Now it seems like they use the left overs from catering.
Pros
+ corn nuggets, buffet
Cons
- , dried out BBQ
Stopped in after moving all day long. Fantastically surprised. All you can eat ribs for less than $20! And they were actually amazingly good and tender. Really enjoyed them. Sides were excellent as well. My grandmother even chowed down!
Pros
+ food, price
Cons
- ambience
I discovered my little slice of pork heaven when I moved to Chester 2 years ago. My boyfriend and I lived right across the street from the restaurant so it was guaranteed that we'd be there once a week. The food is excellent, especially for the price you pay! My personal favorite is the corn fritters that the waitress brings out at the beginning of the meal. Yum yum yum!!! As for ambience, it's Souther dining at it's finest. The waitresses always greet you with a smile.
I highly recommend Brock's to anyone looking for a great meal at a great price.
