The pizza was amazing - the price was great - the atmosphere in the store is not so great. Also, no wine or beer is served at the location.
After being completely ignored at the other pizza place in town, I decided to try brick oven. The owners are on site and they are very friendly and make a very good Pizza. Good for a crowd of kids or inexpensive eats in an otherwise upscale restaurant town.
Anyone that has anything negative about this place has clearly never stepped foot inside. Everyone is so nice, and the calzones were one of the best i've had. I recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a great atmosphere, affordable and delicious food.
I am very picky about my pizza, being from Italy. I won't eat at chain restaurants, preferring to go to small family joints. Only 1 girl working who was both the waitress and the cook. Had to wait 15 minutes just for her to come out of the kitchen and take our order. Would not recommend.
And by finger lickin good, I mean the associates lick their fingers as they prepare your food. Luckily, the seat we chose had a view right into the kitchen where I saw just that happening. We would never go back. Even the dining room felt dirty and it was part of this creepy little video rental store.

Ordered pizza in advance for 7:15 pm and we arrived 20 minutes early so they prepared our order. Played checkers while we waited. For a quick dinner one evening while we were visiting Highlands, my husband and I ate at Brick Oven Pizza. The service was good and we enjoyed our pizza. The menu is pretty large, which we had not expected, and our pizza was quite tasty.
This is the best place for pizza take out in Highlands. The pizza is not greasy and all the ingredients are good and fresh. Whole wheat crust makes it even better.
Best Pizza Ever. Fell in love with this place! The informal atmosphere was comfortable and enjoyable. The pizza was fantastic and they made it the way I wanted. The ingredients were fresh and the sauce and crust were out of this world. Thanks for a great pie and an awesome time!
My husband and I loved Highlands NC and the Brick Oven Pizza had the best garden salad I've had on the road ever, that I didn't prepare myself! It was fresh so was the brick oven pizza made to order. I expected to see a little more "bubbly burn" on my pizza when it comes out of the brick oven...
We had a incredible lunch at this wonderful restaurant, the Greek Salad was so fresh our Calzones were the best we have enjoyed since visiting Italy. The friendly staff makes this a must go to restaurant that offers a great value. We will be back to enjoy.

Mediocre pizza. Had a slice of my in-law's when we arrived. Basic. Placed order. 30mins later the table next to us cheered when their pizzas arrived. Now 55 minutes after arrival and we are still waiting for our pizza. Only two other tables here. Not crowded. Just incredibly slow, long wait. Unacceptable service. No apology. No explanation.

Good on most things. On the plus side, great pizza and a GREAT staff, excellent, kid friendly service. On the minus side, no beer, small place wi only a half a dozen tables, they have movies playing but don't have TV channels. Wings were good, but a little pricey, We couldn't find the place on the first try, it's off Main street. Friendly staff

Food here is really well priced compared to other places in the area. The people working here really friendly.I had a calzone and 16" pizza. It was pretty good.
A visit to Highlands is not complete without a pizza from here. It is very tasty and the staff is very friendly!
Good Pizza. A more limited menu but less frenetic atmosphere than the Pizza Place on Main Street.Next to video/DVD store, so you can browse while you wait for your pie.

Whole wheat crust homemade daily is the perfect match to the RANCH pizza. I crave it and would drive from Atlanta just to enjoy it's many pleasures. Ranch Dressing, Fresh Tomato, Bacon, Mozzarella and Cheddar Cheese meld into a crispy homemade dough (I LOVE the homemade WHOLE WHEAT!)
