This's the worse establishment that I've ever dealt with in all of my years being a consumer in Richmond. Well I have used Dr Grey for ?? 30 yrs to do all my dogs litters ear cropping and tail docking and I have never had any issues with them . I was always treated nice and greeted well.. I used that lady Vet mostly for routine stuff Dr Grey tended to be just more for the ears and taiis , I took a dog to them in 1973 that was hit by a car they were close I told them I did not have money at that...

The staff at this clinic are rude and REFUSED to help treat a very sick service dog the day before NYE!!! I will NEVER go near that place again, nor will I recommend that anyone bring their beloved pet to them.

I went to someone at the animal hospital because my cat had a very red eye when I woke up and it was very close to my home. I was not acknowledged for at least 10 minutes when I walked in, I work in customer service so I am aware if people are busy and respectful of that, no one was on the phone and there was only one person in the waiting area. No one even said we will be right with you. when someone finally spoke, they were rude and when finally someone asked what they could do for me they were not even close to helpful and no compassion whatsoever. My family and I have been taking our pets to this clinic/hospital since the 1970's and most of the staff have been absolutely wonderful. I did some price research for my pet's prescriptions and dietary foods and Boulevard is very comparable to others, lower in many cases.

I made an appointment at BAH (closest vet to my house), whereupon, I explained my cats symptoms cough/sneeze which she exhibited at the appt as well as drooling and panting lethargy, distress calls while urinating, and regurgitation. He diagnosed her as having a URI (w/o considering other factors such as possible toxicity after being told that she was an outdoor/indoor cat) he gave us a script for an antibiotic and sent us on our way. good outpatient animal/vet clinic

I have taken my two dogs to this vet clinic for about two years. I have found the vets to be informative and patient. The atmosphere is informal, relaxed, and low key.........no fancy surroundings, but everything seems to work. My only comment is that some of the receptionists are sub par in terms of attention to detail....I have had to make sure that certain things are noted in terms of the final bill once in a while. Occassionally a receptionist is not as friendly as one would hope, given an animal clinic. Basically, though, the care seems reasonable, as are the bills!

My family & I have been taking our pets to Dr. Gray for over 30 years!!!! I would go no where else and highly recommend him to everyone I know who has pets - as for compassion, you will find no vet more compassionate than Dr. Gray - he and his staff have seen me through some very stressful situations with my pets - Dr. Gray even made a donation to VA Tech veterinarian school in my pet's name when she passed - I just got off the phone with the receptionist (must be new if previous accounts are correct) and she was VERY accommodating - made me an appointment with Dr. Gray this afternoon - no...

The result of my visit with Boulevard Animal Hospital was a dead puppy. Don?t get me wrong I don?t blame BAH for what happen to my little Xavier, they just didn?t help in the situation like professional animal hospitals I?ve been too in the past. My Xavier was diagnosed with Parvovirus which is deadly for puppies anyway. The reason I am so displeased with there service is because they were not informative enough. I was given Three choices of treatment which were take him home and see if he makes it, pay $250 and do an out patient treatment in which I take him home and give the meds to treat...

I will agree with the previous reviewer Dr. Gray is a great Vet!
Unfortunately to get to the Vet you have to go through the receptionist.

I have been going to the Boulervard Vet for over 12 years and I am now shopping for a new Vet. I have been to visit and to ask simply question 3 times in the past month and have been treated not rudely, but definitely indifferently.

My dog had a brief nosebleed today while being groomed, the groomer had a Vet on site who looked at him and everything seemed OK but I thought maybe it would be a good idea to check in with my Vet for some advice....

My husband has been taking his pets to Dr. Gray for 15+ years when we married, I have been taking our pets to him for almost 20 years. He reseaches what he recommends, he is kind and compassionate. He gives good advice for parents/owners as well as pets. He is the best verterinarian I have ever taken my pets to. Has good contacts in his field, such as the N.C. State Veterinary Hospital. This is extremely important.
