Recliner broken

I bought what I thought was a nice recliner from Bloom Brothers for $400 on sale. I have only had the chair a year and a half and it has broken pieces of wood and it sinks almost to the floor. It doesn't recline anymore and since it is so low to the floor now it doesn't rock either!!! About 6 months ago my daughter and I were in Big Lots furniture and saw the exact same chair, made by the same manufacturer for $179!!!!! I was floored, I could have gotten this cheap chair for half the price. I will never go to Bloom Brothers again!

After looking at several stores on the Blvd we found the set we were looking for at BB. My wife also found an ottoman to go with the sofa through the mfg website; we asked if the could be included in the purchase.
After 3 weeks the sales person still has not given us a price; we were ready to buy! We called her, believe it or not, and she had a host of excuses but still no price! Another week later my wife called Esprit Decor in Chesapeake, IN LESS THAN 10 minutes we had a price and it was LESS than BB!!!! Unfortunately, We bought a full living room and dining room there last year, like everyone else trying to save some money, but we did still spend a good bit. Well anyway, the Sofa and the loveseat both seemed like they cave in within 6 months. I mean you sit on them, you hear wood cracking then you feel like you're sitting on the floor. Well the customer service people in the store and at their main office were are no help. They told us because we did not purchase the extended warranty that there was nothing they can do. Funiture Not in Stock.... Still Waiting

I purchased furniture in November 06 but have not received the remaining pieces and it's now been over 3 months. I've spoken numerous times to the Store Manager and I've been promised the furniture would be in the next month. I believe this is just a guess. There doesn't seem to be a good explanation why the furniture is out of stock. We've requested to return the funiture that we had received and puchase something in return of equal value but have not been successful. We are still waiting for the furniture from our original order. I would highly suggest you purchased furniture...

Don't expect to ever see your furniture! My wife and I just built a new house and was trying to furnish it. The furniture we purchased at BB was nice quality stuff for the most part. I can't judge all of it because it has been FOUR MONTHS and we still don't have all of it. Now when I go to the store (because they won't return my phone calls) they tell me MAYBE March. I can't get a refund, they tried to give me a damaged floor model, and I have no recourse but to wait. Never shop there! And if you do don't pay cash and don't pay in full until your merchandise arrives undamagfed. I won't even...

We were shopping for a new dining set and had been everywhere, I was tossed up between 2 tables 1 at Bloom Brothers 1 at the room store. I recently went to Bloom Brothers and picked out the bedroom set that I wanted. Before I could even get in to the area with bedroom sets I was being hounded by several sales people. I finally picked out the set that I wanted, my only problem was that I didn't think that my room was big enough to purchase the night stand with the set. The sales person went on to tell me that any other type of night stand wouldn't look right because this was a very large bedroom set. I was thrilled with the customer service when I was at the store actually purchasing the furniture. However, when the furniture wouldn't fit up our narrow stairs and part of it had to be returned, the refund process was hellish. It has been more than a month since I have returned my furniture and still Bloom Brothers is withholding my $1,000.00 refund. They have acknowledged since the beginning that my refund is legitimate, so that is not the issue. To be frank, I am not quite sure what has been the issue, since each time I am met with the answer ""We'll take care of that right away."" It...

A Horrible Experience

Five weeks after ordering and paying for a rocker/recliner that was needed for my husband's post-operative ankle surgery, I called to check the delivery status. I was told that Lane no longer made his particular chair. No one bothered to call and tell me this. I was told initially that I could buy the chair that was on display because it was the only one in stock. I asked the salesman could I now buy that chair since Lane no longer makes this style and he said it had been sold. Go figure. Please do your research before shopping at this store. The commercials should have been a hint.

I was elated to be given more choice when it comes to furniture shopping in HR, however I was sorely disappointed with my experience with Bloom Brothers. Please, please, please DO NOT bother yourself with this merchant. Customer service is worse than commercials.

We purchased a sofa, oversized chair and ottoman. When it was delivered all four wooden legs on the sofa were broken. It took weeks to get them replaced and a lot of phone calls. NOW 7 months later the ottoman is broken (we are a childless couple so there is no excessive wear and tear on the furniture ) and again we are getting the run around. We are told someone will call us the next day, days go by no phone call. I will never buy from them again.
