This apartment is really good! The office & Maintenance staff are wonderful and very helpful. Walking distance from everything and also close to the train(tide). Only thing we don't like is parking in the garage, it makes getting groceries home a hassle. But parking is the same in any apartment downtown.

Pros:
I found that Belmont had beautiful apartments (bigger than a lot of places downtown with nice finishes) but that might be because they're only barely downtown. They aren't as close to the fun things downtown as I would like them to be. In fact, the only place I walked regularly to was the gym and the light rail (both of which are VERY conveniently located). The Belmont is fantastic from start to finish. The move-in process couldn't have been easier or more efficient. The building is clean, secure, and it's actually very quiet. The staff quickly gets to know your name and are willing to help you out with whatever you need. I love all of the freebies! Every month, I get 2 free tickets to some event in downtown Norfolk. I also got a free membership to the Y next door. That gym is huge and has everything from a lap pool to a cardio theater where you can watch movies and work-out at the same time.
