Been bringing my dog here for years and the girls up front know us by name. My dog is 13 yrs old now and gets nervous in any new surroundings, but not when I drop her off here. The extra special care Michelle gives her makes her feel at ease and comfortable while she is being cared for and groomed. I recommend all my family, friends & neighbors to Bayside Kennels!

Our Alaskan Malamute loves coming here for doggy day care! You can tell he gets all of his energy out by playing because he is a sleepy head when we get home. I love that they have boarding, too, so that Moxie won't be sad to come here while we are out of town. The price is great and so are the staff!

Even though we only travel a few times a year my dog gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. The board fees are budget friendly which allows us to spend a little extra on play sessions and special snacks during his vacation. We booked his room for christmas last month because I would hate to have to find another place!

My dog is never shy about telling us when she doesn't want to go places, but she literally jumps out of the car and runs in the facility when we pull up. It's such a relief to know that my 4-legged baby is well taken care of and loved while at daycare. She konks out for the night after spending her day there, and a tired dog is a happy dog. I would not take my baby anywhere else!

My dog loves doggie daycare so much that he puts me on a guilt trip to take him every morning when I leave for work now. At the end of the day he comes home tired which is nice because he's a giant ball of energy! The only problem is that he acts like he'd rather stay there when I pick him up even after "having a sleepover" for a few days. LOL!

Shame on Bayside Kennels - had been taking my dog there for grooming. Never again. The groomer badly skinned my dog under both of his eyes - he then was diagnosed with conjunctivitis which drained into the irritated areas causing his skin under the eyes to become sore, reddened and inflamed. They talked me out of seeing my vet by telling me that if the vet at Bayside agreed that the grooming contributed to this issue, I would not have to pay. We recently added two ""fur kids"" to our family and they boarded over Christmas while we visited family up north. I had never boarded a pet before and was apprehensive about leaving them behind. I am a strong believer that dogs are family, and I only want the best for mine. All 3 of my dogs get SO excited as soon as we pull up to the building and bark their heads off wanting to get back to the kennel area. Sometimes I wonder if they even miss me! I have used Bayside Kennels Groomers for my Scottish Terrier for over three years. I have never been dissatisfied with her cut. They have easy drop off and call as soon as she is finished. Their prices are reasonable and the staff friendly. I also kennel Pepper there when needed and have never been dissatisfied with their service.

My English Cocker Spaniel has been goomed, boarded and attends ""doggie day care"" at Bayside Kennels and she Loves it! When I tell her I'm taking the to ""play-play"" for the day, she goes crazy to get to the garage and get in the car. When we arrive, she pulls me to the door of the kennel and runs into the waiting arms of her daycare ""teacher"" for that day. We've boarded our big, healthy Golden Golden at Bayside Kennels on numerous occasions (twice in the last month!) Our Golden Retriever loves it and so do we. As soon as we walk in our dog is excited to be there. He's greeted warmly by all staff as are we. When we pick him up he's happy and beautifully groomed (when we ask for the option of grooming.) With a couple of mixed reviews, I'm certainly glad I decided to tour the place and see for myself! On kind of a short notice, they staff kindly offered me a tour and booked our cocker for a 5 night stay and a haircut (I have a groomer, but for the convenience). I was impressed that the place looked exactly like the website, didn't smell like a kennel, and was much bigger than it appears, and the dogs can see other dogs from their own run. I have a golden retriever who is a very sweet and loving dog. I used this kennel 2 times before, just for an overnight stay. The most recent time I took her, I left her there for three days and was horrified by what I saw. I labeled and separated her food and asked them to feed her that. I asked them if it would be possible to give her a rawhide per day and two toys for her to play with. I also gave her 2 blankets for her cage. My husband & I had to leave the state for several weeks because we were going to Texas to adopt a baby. Before we left the house, we had cleaned the house and car from top to bottom so it would be in tip top shape for our new family member. Ok, I'm not sure what some other people saw, but my pets love this place. And, from what I hear, alot has changed over the past 3 months. Change made me skeptical but I am glad I chose Bayside Kennels because I will never go anywhere else. The place was clean, smelled clean, and the floors in the kennel are new. The staff was friendly and helpful. And, no one has ever groomed my dog as well as Judy groomed her. They were even able to get my dogs vaccines updated while she was there. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND BAYSIDE KENNELS.

This place is wonderful. Lobby is recently renovated evidently, and it is beautiful. All the dogs have access to go outdoors from their own personal run (not cages) and have quality bedding mats. It's also a great value!

I have to say, I am pleasantly happy with Bayside Kennels. They have gone through some remarkable new renovations such as beautiful new kennel floors and really cool beds in each run. Not to mention, unlike some establishments, each run is indoor/outdoor. They have recently updated the lobby as well, and it has made a difference. The staff is very friendly and show a true passion for animals. This place has come far under it's recent new management. Congrats!

Bad Experience at this Kennel

**Left my dog at Bayside kennel while I was on vacation for 9 days (3rd time using this kennel, but other times were only short weekend visits).

**I was not called while I was away though I was readily available at the number I left with them.

**When I returned I could clearly see my dog had lost weight & when I put his collar on him it fell right off.

** He was weighed when I dropped him off and I weighed him again at pick up and the difference was 7lbs.

**The kennel claimed not to have noticed which is not what I expect from a kennel that advertises ""One-on-One Personal Attention""...

I have a dog and a cat and have tried a couple different boarding facilites and I love this place! I don't worry about leaving my animals there because I know the staff will take good care of them. They are always so friendly and helpful (and so is the vet next door). I tell everyone I know about this place.

My family has kept our pets at Bayside Kennels for over 20 years. They have large indoor/outdoor runs for small or large dogs. They don't put your dog in a crate and stack him/her up on another crate like some kennels do. Unlike some kennels, they allow you to go and see where your dog is going to be kept. It is very clean. The staff is very nice as well.

I have used this kennel for over 10 years and would not take my dogs anywhere else. They truely care for the animals and it shows. My dogs run to the door to get in. The staff is great. They make me feel comfortable leaving them in their care. I travel alot and to know that I have a place like this to leave my furry children takes a big burden off of me. I have used other kennels in the area before I found Bayside and none of them come close to this place. If you are looking for a place where you know your animals will be taken care of, this is the place to go.

One of the most poorly run establishments of any kind that I have ever seen in my life. Staff is completely unknowledgeable, unaccountable, unreliable, and unresponsible. You can catch them at the front desk at anytime chewing gum and twirling their hair, not taking care of people's pets. I left my dog there for 2 days. 2 days! I have been using with Bayside Kennels for approximately 4 years. the staff is incredibly helpful & efficient. I have a Terrier & a Shepherd/ Beagle mix. They are in love with the staff. I can't find anyone else who takes better care of my animals then Bayside Kennels. This is very clean & comfortable environment for my dogs to stay. I highly recommend to anyone to use this kennel for their future boarding & grooming needs.

I left my rotty at Bayside over the Xmas holiday. Upon our return they were unable to find her food (WHAT were they feeding her?), food scooper or toys. The dog came back with a horrific rash on her back that they did not tell us about even though she was bathed just hours before pick up...how they failed to notice the rash is just beyond me.
