Really, really terrific food. Savory, beautifully presented-- real quality. The service is good. The place is a tad small, and the menu is equally small, but sometimes with big menus one doesn't know what to order, especially when the food is as marvelous as it is here.

We showed up without reservations (just 2 of us) and they very graciously accommodated us. The service was very good. Not sure about the limited menu comments. The menu was small, but well chosen. We prefer a smaller menu that is fresh. The food was good. Nice ambiance. We would go back. A little …

Randomly stopped in to this restaurant located near the corolla light resort. The service was friendly; the atmosphere offered a quiet dining experience; the food was delicious. Appetizers-- crab salad and tomato soup. These were fresh and full of flavor. Mains-- carbonara and the caprese pasta special. …

Went to Bambinos on the last day of a recent trip to OBX. While the hostess was very sweet and did the best she could, she was the only one serving that night. It seemed like they were on the verge of closing for the season and the service reflected it. Several of the wines and entrees were not in stock and …

My husband and I had a night away from the kids on vacation and wanted to go somewhere a bit nicer. Quiet, nice atmosphere and Tony Bennett playing while we enjoyed a quality Italian dinner. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing dinner!

We made reservations on a Thursday evening at 7pm and arrived to excellent service by Peter. Can not flaw the waiter - he was great. Everyone (2 children; 3 adults) enjoyed the food. The penne lamb dish was good, but the lamb could have been more prevalent. The house risotto was tasty, but a little heavy on the pepper. The...

Took my family to Bambino for waht we thought would be a good Italian style meal. All 7 of us were very disappointed. The shrimp with polenta sounded great. The shrimp were of the size 80 to the pound, or so it seemed. I never knew shrimp that small could be cleaned. The polenta had teh texture of partially cooked...

We were a group of 7. 4 adults and 3 kids. Had no trouble at all getting a table with a reservation made only 45mins before we arrived. The restaurant was really quite empty ( 7.30 pm) which is strange for a very busy time of year. The service was ok but nothing special and the food was a little...

Our family 9 of us...5 adults and 4 children dined early evening (5:00) at Bambino's. Several of us had the rock fish. It was delicious as was everyone else's dish. The service was excellent.
I think this would make for an excellent intimate dinner.

We read the rave reviews for this restaurant and decided to try it after our trip to the Currituck Lighthouse (only 0.3 miles away). We got there at 5:15pm, so we were the only ones there. My husband thought it was a bit too fancy for our little ones, but the waitstaff was still friendly and helpful, bringing them crayons...

This restaurant was an "accident" visit. We intended to eat elsewhere, but thankfully ended up here. Had calamari as an appetizer, which was excellent. Had the best Crab salad I ever had, with a delicious dressing. My wife had chicken parm, which was outstanding, and the chef made me a dish, off the menu, which was fabulous. Rather than wait...

Our extended family of 6 had an 8pm reservation and were seated within minutes of our arrival. The dining room was small, but comfortable. Our waitress, Natasha, immediately introduced herself and filled our water glasses. She was friendly and attentive during the entire meal. We ordered several appetizers, including the daily special...pan fried duck egg. Everything looked and tasted great....

This restuarant was a great surprise on our trip to Corolla. It is small so you need to make a reservation, but it is worth it. We were a family of four and each of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The lasagna was one of the best we have ever tried. Definitely one of the best in the area and...

We weren't expecting much from an Italian restaurant in a shopping center in a tourist area but were pleasantly surprised. The casaer salad and mushroom ravioli were excellent. The daily special of risotto with duck was great as well. All was great paired with the house chianti.

Absolutely great place for a great meal. Food was fresh and delicious. The wait staff was extremely polite and did not rush us through our meal even though it was late and during the off-season. I would highly recommend trying this restaurant for an inspired Italian meal.

We've eaten many times at this location when it was Nicoletta's. This was our first trip to the restaurant since it was Bambino's. We love that it is a smaller restaurant and not so loud as some of the other restaurants in Corolla. They were able to accomodate a party of 9 with a reservation very comfortably. Service was pleasant...

After an afternoon of sightseeing around the area of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse in Corolla we were looking for a bite to eat. Not everyone wanted the same thing for dinner so we settled on something everyone likes - Italian.

This was by far the best meal we had on OBX. The mushroom goat cheese bruschetta was to die for. We really loved splitting our entre and salad, as both were great. The wine list was varied and reasonable. The service equally stellar. We loved it.

We wanted to have a special dinner for our extended family, ranging in age from 6 to 68. The meal at Bambino's turned out to be very special indeed. We visited Bambino's through the Outer Bank Restaurant Tours. We were able to meet chef Randolph Sprinkle who was very personable and an OUTSTANDING chef. The staff here was very friendly. The pasta was divine. I opted for the traditional lasgna but the chicken Alfredo and the veal pasta were equally good. We also enjoyed the pork belly appetizer. Everyone enjoyed the tiramasu. We will return on our vacation next year.

Totally enjoyed our visit to Bambino's. If you think it is overpriced you must be living in the twilight zone or from Mexico. 4 of us dined there and each thought their meal was excellent. Ordered chop salad which states on the menu it has kalamative olives. It was served with black olives without prior notice. Our planned destination was closed and it was already 8p so we decided to try the next best on the tripadvisor list, which was Bambino's. We lucked into a backup that could have been a first choice. Really nice Dinner!. My Wife and I dined there last night with another couple. It was really yummy from the soup to the salad to the mains.
