You can absolutely dine in too, but we always carry out. We have never been disappointed in anything we have had there. It had ruined us for other Chinese restaurants. They are quick, efficient, and the food is excellent.....and a great value. What more could you ask?

Asian Grill is a nice little sushi place. It also has other kinds of dishes if members of your party are not big on sushi (many sushi items actually are cooked: eel, shrimp). Good for lunch when mostly just business people and locals are stopping in. Service can be casual during off-hours, but still worth checking it out.

We did not expect to have asian food during our time in Newport News. It was a surprise find for us and we went back several times. I believe they specialize in chinese foods but also serve japanese (including sushi) and thai dishes. It was pretty tasty and the prices were more than reasonable.

This is our family's favorite sushi and chinese place in Newport News. They price is very reasonable and food is excellent. The place is just across Christopher Newport University. We have been returning to this place since 2005, even after our daughter graduated from college. Yummy food and good customer service. We will definitely return!
They have some of the best Asian Food on the Pennisula. My wife also likes their Thai food too. We've heard they also have excellent sushi.

LOVE IT. So sorry I moved away so they can't deliver to me anymore because this place has such great food! The sushi is some of the best in the area and it is cheaper than most too, so it's hard to beat! The Pad Thai is always delicious and they give you enough for a couple of meals. They also have great soup and lots of appetizers choices (I've shared some before and made them my whole meal.)

One of the best Asian restaurants in the area. The food is always fresh and tasty, and brought out quickly. The atmosphere is sparsely decorated, but very clean and uncluttered. The menu has large selection and most items are very inexpensive.
As the saying goes, it certainly holds true in at this place. The service is generally ok, as long as they aren't busy. Because they only have one waiter, if its busy, forget service. You might get a drink refill. The food is always excellent here, sushi and traditional chinese meals as well. If you order take out or delivery, they tend to forget things... its frustrating to have to go back....

Have eaten here several times and always found the food overall to be good. The dumplings have been the only disapointment as they were heavy and slightly dough thick. In all fairness, my daughter who had not eaten them anywhere else, liked them.
