Visited this Andreas this week and it is definitely not the same as it was when it was located on Battlefield Blvd! First it was 98 outside and when we entered it was very hot inside. As we were seated, we asked if the A/C was on, and the waitress replied "No. the owner won't turn it on, he likes it hot!" That should have been a clue to leave but we moved to a better table and ordered.I got the Calamari and my wife ordered the Tortellini w/alfredo sauce. The calamari is an appetiser, but at that old location it was large enough to be considered a meal! Now it comes with about 6-7 pieces and some sauce. The tortellini had very little sauce on it and was not as good as it used to be.We couldn't wait to finish and leave. It is sad to see this great restaurant go down hill so badly. We will not go back again.
Pizza or Boogers?
I was in for lunch a few days ago with a few of my lunch pals to get a pizza. The table was sticky and the floor had pieces of food on it but the pizza was ok. When we finished up and were waiting on our bill we noticed that the lady at the counter was picking her nose! That was bad enough, but when she began to make a salad (no hand washing, no gloves) I wanted to throw up. I am not going back. If these things are tolerated then I can only imagine what else touches the food.

Andrea ' s has been in Great Bridge for a long time. Many other pizza/Italian places have come and gone because they simply cannot compete. The owner makes the dough by hand each day. The pizza sauce is homemade. The pasta dishes are great, too....

Ordered food from Andrea's Ristorante for delivery tonight. Food came within time frame given. The kids love the pepperoni pizza. I enjoyed their chicken wings. Andreas makes the best pizza! I grew up near NYC, really missed good Italian food when we moved to VA. I was so happy when Andrea's opened. It is the only place we order pizza now. The food was good but not for the price. The portions were pretty small. The seats in the booths feel like they are pews from a church. Andrea's has been family owned and operated for over 20 years, It serves REAL Italian food from the heart and the people are the friendliest. There pizza is good but what impressed me most was the Italian dishes at a reasonable cost I highly recommend.

In a word, ROTTEN. The food tasted like Ragu from a jar. The restaurant is merely a locals spot for hanging out. The drinks were cold, the tables were clean; not a bad spot to sit and have a cup of coffee and socialize. To visit for an Italian dinner? NO WAY!!
