The Chef is a Master Culinary Chef from Sardenia Italy. He prepairs the finest food available in the Hampton Roads Area.

We had a special request of "no added fat" to one person's meal (simple grilled fish, rinsed veggies under hot tap water) due to a medical condition. The fish came back floating on a plate of oil! It was gross deliberate actions of one of the chefs who thought "but it's a GOOD fat." Oh my word.... No fat means NO FAT, "good" or "bad." Then, to "remedy" the situation, the head chef brings out a free slice of fat-laden cheesecake to this person who cannot eat anything high-fat! Duh??? What don't they understand about low-fat??? We tried to explain, but the young manager was clueless and the chef was offended.... I guess it's true, you really can't fix stupid. They wouldn't even take it off our bill! We emailed the restaurant owner who promised a refund, but it never appeared on our credit card statement.
Poor service and lack of audio on the tv made this a very poor venture. The food was great but everything else was bad. The beer selection was too eclectic.

Gorgeous inside! Food was unique and delicious. Only constructive criticism I can offer is that the carbonara/alfredo sauce was too sweet; however, gnocchi was perfectly made and cooked! Bread was delicious as well. Music could have been a little lower.

My husband n I went to Amber Lantern last night to celebrate my birthday. We were very pleased. The jumbo shrimp appetizer was delicious and the breeding was to die for! We each had Filet Mignon for dinner and they were flavorful and cooked perfectly! Combined with the ambiance of the restaurant and the water view we will definitely be returning!

Had a reservation arrived on time and was totally ignored for 20 minutes after i sat down. Call next day talk to manager and all they down was apologize for ruining my valentines dinner.
