This classic golf course designed by George W. Cobb is even better! The course was closed for renovations and is now open for your enjoyment. All greens were rebuilt, shaped and seeded with Bent grass. Each fairway was reworked to improve drainage and enhance character, they remain within corridors of mature loblolly pines. New wetland areas and lakes provide beauty and additional challenges....
This little course south of NAS Oceana is a must play in Va Beach. It's one of the best public courses, especially for the price. The layout is challenging and fun. No gimmicks...no boring straight away holes. Just a lot of fun. The ONLY reason it doesn't get 5 stars....they seemed to have no idea on managing pace of play....
