My husband and I stayed in Crystal City when we visited DC last week. He is in a wheelchair and we needed a cab to get us to either a metro stop or into DC itself every day. We couldn't ride in any cab, we needed one specially designed for wheelchairs. Every time we called they said it could take up to an hour because of the limited number of accessible cabs. Excuses I heard today from dispatchers about why the cab I needed at 6:30 to make a DCA flight would not arrive until 7:10: "we didn't know it was going to snow" and "the closest cab is 18 minutes away" and "the roads might be closed" I drove myself, the roads were open & fine, and no thanks to Red Top I made my flight. Never again.

Twice now, Red Top Cab has failed to show up to take me to the airport, including when Cab 161 never showed last Thursday. Missed my flight by two minutes after waiting two hours and hailing a cab that just happened to be driving by. What did Derek, the Supervisor, promise me in return?
