Help us make it rightThe atmosphere and food were awesome. Scallops were the best I've ever had, and my husband's steak was tender and flavorful. Service was attentive without being intrusive. We will definitely be back for our next special occasion- it was pricey but worth every cent.
After reading different reviews for this restaurant we decided to give it a try. The evening was beautiful so we dined al fresco while enjoying the garden. However the food did not hold up. Our tea tasted like it was beginning to ferment. The french bread advertised in the menu was just spoungy white bread. It took quit awhile for our appetizers. The dinner of my husband was cold and my pasta was overcooked and sticky. The staff was nice as was the service but then we were the only ones there. One could tell the restaurant used to be elegant but the operative words are used to be.
Very nice, cozy atmosphere. Service was excellent. Portion sizes were more than adequate without overdoing it. Food was wonderful!! Dinner items ranged from about $12-25, but well worth it. Highly recommended.
The Red Maple Inn is a favorite of mine – I will say that up front. A big
reason for my love of this restaurant is because it is a local, family-owned
finer dining restaurant with a classically trained chef. Red Maple
Inn is on Harpersville Road between Jefferson and Warwick by the railroad
tracks in a turn-of-the-century home. This hidden gem has been around
for years but has flourished...
We have eaten here several times. My wife and I ate here for the first time for our anniversary a few years ago. The Inn is an old Victorian home that serves as a restaurant. There has been little renovation to the exisitng structure so you feel like you are stepping back in time. Each room downstairs is used for...
I am so disappointed to say I had an absolutely horrible experience when dining here. I arranged to take my work department here for a Christmas Work Luncheon-we had 8 people. The reservations were made a month and a half in advance. We got the absolute worst service I have ever had. It was cold and rainy, and there was...
I requested that my husband and two of my three sons take me to Red Maple Inn for a special Mother's Day lunch. The service was terrible, the onion soup was terrible, the mahi-mahi was less than flavorful. The dessert was good. I had gone once before and ordered off the menu, and the food was quite good, but we were the only patrons in the restaurant. I'm not sure if I'll go back.
Went on a Sunday evening back in Feb of 08. It was still decorated from Valentines day. We like the old fashioned Victorian antique feel and style of decorating, so just looking at all the different tables and chairs and carvings on them, furniture and different dishes around the fireplaces and on the shelves was nice. Calming music and candle...

The Red Maple Inn is postcard perfect, a tenderly renovated, antique-filled two-story house surrounded by stunning gardens. Visit it for affordable fine dining with a Southern Flair. The elegantly decorated restaurant offers all the fancy accoutrements - table cloths, linen napkins and fine china. But even with its swanky setting, the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. The wine list is...
