Red Hot & Blue began as a labor of love for Tennessee Congressman (and later Governor) Don Sundquist, two of his former staff members, Wendell Moore and Joel Wood, and me, a network TV correspondent. We wanted a place where we could eat Memphis-style bar-b-que and listen to our favorite tunes.

Extras: Despite its simplicity, the spa offers free use of select soaps, shampoos, lotions and hair dryers. A robe and towels are provided when you check in; lockers are available for storing your belongings.
More for Your Money: Check in an hour before your treatment to soak in the Jacuzzi or relax in the steam room or sauna. Afterward, spend as long as you like in the relaxation room. (The Jacuzzi and steam rooms are for pre-treatments only.)
Modest Concerns: The changing room is not private, so head to one of the spacious restrooms if you prefer to change without the possibility of company. The use of swimsuits in whirlpools is optional.
