I am not sure if the company is dirty or just Paul and Cathy. Should have known from the first meeting when Paul bragged about cheating the government by filing personal bankruptcy.
Do not rent from Rebuilding America. I rented from them and it was a nightmare the entire time. They advertise "affordable" properties but in actuality they rent slums in the worst areas of Pensacola. The local housing laws are a joke to them. The house I rented leaked the entire time. None of the pipes are up to code and I was told by a plumber that gases were leaking into the house. My toilet backed up into the bathtub so I called them threatening to call the police and they sent some guys over in a van to dig a hole in the yard. From then on the toilet water gushed out into the hole in the yard. The roofer that came to look at the leak said the house needed to be roofed as the roof that was on it was 30 years old. It wasn't roofed and the major leaks continued to the point I had to just move my furniture out of that room.

Let me get one thing straight with you. I was never late with rent. I left owing NO money to rebuilding America. I was not evicted. My negative review of Rebuilding America is not based on sour grapes or retaliation. Rebuilding America is simply the worst company I have ever dealt with in any manor. After the move-out inspection I called to confirm the return of my deposit as I left the house in perfect condition. I am allowed a stipend from my job to pay for cleaners so I hired a cleaning crew to come in and do a wonderful job on the house for move out. I was told by Paul that as punishment he would delay the return of my deposit by one day each time I called to ask about it. Yes, Rebuilding America is that kind of company. Avoid these clowns. The only reason I can think a person should rent from them is if you are a drug dealer or pimp because the police tend to stay our of Rebuilding America neighborhoods
