Help us make it rightSomeone hydroplaned and my Toyota with my trailer was taken out. Randy Service Center's tow truck showed up and pulled me out of the ditch. He pulled me maybe 15 yards, and because my Toyota was drivable I did not need any further help. (not sure of his name) but the driver of the wrecker told me it was going to be $300. and it had to be in cash. I asked him what would happen if I did not have $300 in cash (who does) (as he would not take a charge card) he said I would have to park my car on his lot....then he said he would follow me to the BB&T so I could hit the ATM. Then he hands me this receipt that hand written Randy's Service Center scrawled across the top, and told me to hand that to the insurance people... I guess that was suppose to make me feel better to hand the insurance people a b/s receipt and to pass the screwing I just got down the line. I have no idea how it is to get anything fixed at the shop but I got a royal screwing by the tow truck. I wish I could give you less than 1 star...
My car was dead in Chincoteague about a half hour drive from randys he came to tow me to his station anyway but when he arrived we discovered it was better to go to Ford so he towed me there. O by the way randy was closed that day just happened to pick up the phone, he came anyway. I am from NY so ford fixed me and I went . Randy knowing I was from NY called me the next day to see if all was OK, Wow
