Met someone here that claimed to be a mechanic, and was selling his Volvo. Lie and lie just didn't add up. Ran the Carfax and everything he told me was a lie. Said he owned the car for 2 years and his wife drove it to church...nope. Bought it from a dealer a month ago.
Told me he did all the work himself, nope...because I have records of it being done at a dealership. It even had an oil...
This last time I went for an inspection and they told me my oil really needed to be changed so I let them do it since I'm driving a few hours tomorrow. When I got home I told my husband who was immediately upset. Apparently he had just changed the oil in the car and put 15k high mileage full synthetic oil and an expensive oil filter in it... So basically they lied to me and downgraded my oil...
Never trust these people!!! They will lie to you, overcharge you and when you leave, you'll more than likely have something else broken that was working perfectly when you got there! They'll admit to breaking it and tell you to bring it back and they'll fix it but then try to charge you a fortune for the repair that the mechanic admitted he broke!! Bad business!! Never go there again!! I wish I...
