Took my sweet beagle in for his annual and came out spending over $400 without being given an estimate, even though I asked.
Dr. Hauer assumed my beagle was aggressive and muzzled him right away to trim his nails. She said the food I was feeding him was "garbage" and I needed to purchase food from the hospital instead.
I felt very scammed and will never return again. So many other great hospitals out there. Don't choose this one.
I took my sheltie in for a teeth cleaning and
she has been deaf since I picked her up. They
charged me $751.00 , the bill was padded with
charges like fecal exam, since when do you do a fecal exam to clean a dogs teeth. Also, they cleaned her ears and charged me without asking me. The worst part is that she is now deaf and they have not once expressed any kind of caring that this has happened saying they didn’t want it to look like they did anything wrong. They have refused to refund my money for the same reason. BEWARE! They have certainly liked my money over the years but as soon as something horrible happened while under their care they have not been there for my sheltie at all. Shame on them.
Amazing place- my elderly cat becomes scared and anxious and lashes out during her appointments but the staff and doctors handle her and her behavior real well and never get upset with her which makes the visit easier on me
We have brought both our dogs since they were puppies and the care they get here is always excellent. The staff is always very friendly and ready to serve you.
They are better than any place I get treated at. They are great from the time you get there till you leave and even when your home they call to check on the babies. They will go to the moon and back for pet and pet owners. Totally love them
Wouldn't trust my furry family members to anyone else.
This place has a very welcoming atmosphere, a fantastic staff and quite simply-amazing ! Everyone was very helpful, attentive to detail and thorough. Dr. Hauer took care of Luke (our K9 buddy) and he received excellent care. This is our veterinary place of choice. I highly recommend Princess Anne Veterinary Hospital for quality care.
