Excellent sandwiches and friendly staff. Outside deck open year-round (covered in winter) with beautiful view. Dogs are welcome on the deck and are treated like guests.
What you see is what you get. Nice view as we munched on boars head sandwiches. Extruded French fries but piping hot. Yum.

On our first trip to the Outer Banks we arrived in Manteo very late in the evening and had missed any local restaurants still serving supper. Poor Richards is just up the block from the Tranquil Inn, where we stayed, and thank goodness they had some late night appetizers on the menu! Chicken Tenders and Fries were hot and yummy!...
