The Pine Tavern Lodge is an old school motor lodge, built in the late 20's I think. It's not the plushest place to stay in Floyd, but definitely has the most character. My friend and I are musicians and we could stay up late and jam without bothering anybody. Also the Pine Rest. beside the hotel is awesome. Best fried chicken I've ever had.
