How about zero stars? I had heard good things about this place, but my experience with the staff is that they are rude and snobby. There are too many good bakeries in town for me to do business with a rude, stuck up staff.

Finally, real Italian food!

Once of the few places in Portland which takes great pride in their food and service. Contrary to the "Rude" review below, I find the owner and staff to be very friendly and welcoming. This is a family run business and it shows.

I've lived in Little-Italy in Toronto for most of my life, and cooked professionally there for 11 years. I can safely say that this is the real Italian food prepared...

I hadn't had real canoli since I left NY 15 years ago... I'm so glad I moved to the neighborhood recently. Friendly service. I've been so taken with the canoli, I haven't tried anything else yet

Best little italian place

Great food. Great service, and great atmosphere. Went for lunch and had a great salad and calzone. My friend had soup and salad. It was all great. The owner Pat came and said hello to us and was so funny and friendly. Plus they bake! Bought a bunch of Italian cookies home and kids loved them. My new favorite dessert and lunch spot. A must visit.
