Called in only about an hour ahead to say we were coming in from out of town and needed a place for about 7 people, each arriving at separate times. They were very gracious about setting up a special table for us and didn't make us feel rushed that we arrived at slightly different times.

This place has it all. Fantastic food, great service and pretty nice atmosphere. It is our favorite place in town. The menu leans heavy on the fish side so if you are not a fish fan you might not be as happy. Desserts are great too. Prices a bit high, but you get what you pay for.

Previous visits were generally pleasurable to what was always my favorite restaurant in Midlothian (see my previous review titled "Much Ado About Something" linked below).
Lately, however, I've had the feeling that the staff has lost its passion for the business. I still like the spicy offerings but the cooking has lost its edge and the service has fallen off...

AHHH Tamales

Finally got my husband to try something different (I'm a tamale addict). The tamales were good despite being a little under heated for my taste. I had the fresh beet appetizer for my entree and it was superb both visually and taste wise.
Nice wine list, great service - a pleasant surprise to find in Chesterfield.

Very nice dinner with family - sampled a variety of our table's dishes and all were very good. Atmosphere was average, service was good, but the food was the start of the show.
