I visited this store in January of this year2015. I went in to pick up a alternator and purchase a thermostat for my truck. The man at the counter was just finishing up with a customer. Who can possibly afford an air conditioning check up and recharging for 249 dollars?! To charge a separate price for checking it 50 dollars and the go 190 more for the actual work? Ridiculous. I cannot see how this place is even in business. Oh wait with those prices then can afford the rent! They tried to charge me $100.00 to plug a code reader to my vehicle and tell me why a light was on - AutoZone did it for FREE. All of them do!!!

Tonight we were saved from a Batteries Plus nightmare. We took our car to Batteries Plus to get a new battery. They said it wasn't a battery issue. Our tow truck driver suggested we take the car to PEP Boys and they quickly diagnosed that the battery had a dead cell and replaced it while we got dinner at the restaurant near by. By the time we got back it was ready to go. Thanks PEP Boys!!!
