I Accompanied my son to Pamplin Park for a field trip. Great staff!! Fun and very informative. Nice and clean. Neat gift shop.

This refurbished home and grounds contain an excellent museum depicting the life of the average soldier - the weapons, the clothing, the food they ate. There are many authentic items and they also have very creative "Living History" interactive learning stations for children, anti-bellum homes and walking trails across the battlefield.

You can see yourself walking with the other solidars into battle. Nice afternoon stroll or a whole day of education and entertainment.
