My five out of town nieces and I really enjoy having tea at the Painted Lady. The Savories were very tasty. I requested a vegan serving and they tried to grant my request. The service was attentive. Visits to the gift shop are always exciting. I travel from VB to get my loose teas. The apricot and blackberry blend makes an excellent pot of tea.

Yelp

This place is great! Amazing food, very cozy atmosphere, great service, and a huge outdoor patio for nice days. I just moved in around the corner and hope to return many times.

Yelp

Over priced and decent but not great food.

Try any one of their signature dishes and you will not be disappointed like the She Crab soup or the Chicken Salad.

Located in a fine Victorian home in historic Ghent, the Painted Lady is as enticing as its name, with a dark wood bar, original Victorian fireplaces, and historic wall hangings. Specialties include filet mignon with Roquefort red bell pepper butter, drunken pork chops, veal marsala, or roast lobster tail. Fine cuisine in a memorable environment. Don't forget to browse the second-story gift shop.

This elegant restaurant offers the perfect setting for a special or romantic occasion. Richly decorated with several small dining rooms with fireplaces, the restaurant features nice touches such as a piano player on weekends. The menu continues the elegant theme with appetizers such as oysters and escargots, and a variety of entrees including beef, chicken, salmon, crab cakes, and veal. White...
