Uhm, this place is a bunch of charlatans who need an attitude adjustment. Pizza is marginal. Drinks were subpar. After the waiter got braggadocios about their Moscow Mules, we found it amusing that the restaurant didn't have a copper cup. Over & Shaker was a solid pick for dinner. The salad we ordered was fresh and huge, easily large enough for two people to share. And the pizza was good. It's oven baked with a thin crust which reminded us of Rome. And the ingredients on top were interesting. We would certainly go back.

Last week I had the chance to work in Portland which also gave me the chance to try out a restaurant that was new to me, Oven and Shaker . Located in the Pearl district of Portland, Oven and Shaker specializes in mixed drinks and pizza’s cooked in a wood fired oven. We arrived shortly after six and were seated right away. Even the staff up front seemed surprised that we accomplished this.
