I have seen Dr. Ruiz since the summer of 2013 when I was diagnosed with stage 0 breast cancer. From the biopsy, surgery and all the follow up visits that I have had, I have found him to be consistently concerned, caring and he takes his time to answer any and all of your questions. Very happy that Dr. Martin had recently arrived at Nags Head Hospital when I came in with a perforated colon. It was a harrowing experience but he saved my life.

Dr. Walker attempted to discharge my husband at 11:00 pm from The Outer Banks Hospital after it was determined he had a blocked aortic valve in his heart and experiencing shortness of breath. Her snide remarks to my husband were rude and unprofessional. Dr Day was late to our first appointment with her - like late as Im not even at the facility well after our scheduled appnt time. She came in for about 10 min, suggested surgery, performed the surgery and my daughters issue is not only still there, but has multiplied tremendously!! Will definitely never return or recommend this provider to anyone!
