Interesting Course Needs a Little TLC.

Average Rating

I was disappointed. The pro shop was understaffed. The tee boxes didn't identify the hole number. The overall signage was poor; creating a frustrating experience going from green to tee. There was no overall course diagram available on scorecard or in the cart. Forget cell phone coverage here, so there was no chance to go to the Internet or use an app. Many parts of the cart path were crumbling...

Quirky but very enjoyable and interesting

Spectacular views, challenging tee shots and approaches and several very unique holes make Olde Beau (named after the designer's beloved dog) a very enjoyable experience. A couple of the par 5s, most notably the 17th, are unlike anything I've ever played. Hard to describe, but here goes: Iron off the tee finds tree 100 yards out. Layup 65 yards to edge of cliff. Hit 240-yard approach onto green...

good course but slow

The good news is the greens are pristine and the temperature is always cooler than down the mountain. The bad news is there are always several slow groups on the course. This is a difficult course with many blind shots so a good bit of delay is built in, but sometimes it can be painful.

Not a course for a average golfer

Very tight course with lots of hills hard to walk or ride.

Great layout and views from the course

Great Course, but they had over 14 in of rain within the past two weeks. Some washed out ares on the cart paths. Cart Path only the day we played which made the day longer and more challenging on us.
