Nicholas Restaurant Review

Everything is house-made at this family-owned restaurant, starting with the pizza-size pita bread on everyone's table, straight from the authentic Lebanese oven. Nicholas’ lengthy menu offers a full range of classic Middle Eastern dishes, including tabbouleh, fried cauliflower, stuffed grape leaves, hummus, saffron rice and tender lamb kebabs. You may also taste more unusual dishes such as...

I always leave this place in a food coma. I recommend coming in during lunch right at open before the frenzy of hungry people arrive at noon. Everything is delioucios. Especially the lamb kabobs and the fresh oven baked bread! Great place for those who are vegetarians as well.

They had very good iced coffee. We had a appetizer, which wasn't my thing. But the others in my party loved it. So...

Just an excellent menu with fantastic meat and vegetable dishes, fresh baked Lebanese bread, so many choices. Try the mezza ( both meat and non-meat). Perfect for sampling a variety of dishes. Very inexpensive and worth every penny.

This was our second visit and we were not disappointed. Mezze plates are fun because you get to try several items. The service was quick. The only disappointment was that my husband was expecting something different when he asked for lamb shawarma and was served hummus with lamb that was not shaved like he expected. Our companion had kibbeh, which...

I stumbled upon Nicholas' Restaurant and decided to give it a try; one doesn't encounter a Lebanese restaurant very often.
The seating are was small and busy with local clientele. The service was great. This is not a fast meal, so take your time and plan on enjoying some unique Mediterranean flavors.
If I am ever in Portland again, this...
