Very disappointed with this department and the detectives. Because of the laziness of these people and not doing their job my daughter has an imaginary friend that took her to a bank to cash a check that was stolen. Not taking any responsibilty from her but they never invested into this other person and she now has an imaginary friend. Funny thing I have her phone with his # and text. WAY TO GO...

Completely under trained to handle any type of mental health situation. 1/5 protecting and serving, 6/5 extortion and brutality.

An absolute disgrace to our community, we deserve much better service men and women than what the Newport News Police Department pumps out.
