What the community has to say about Nashville Farmers' Market

Information about this business (1)

Since it's inception on the town square in the early 1800's, the Farmers' Market has been a vital part of Nashville life. Although the market has had several homes, one thing has remained constant; a love of shopping for the best produce, food and bargains in an exciting community setting. Today the market is still home to a daily Farmers' Market with local farmers and produce re-sellers; an...

Fresh produce, plants and flowers since 1828, plus flea market vendors, a food court and special events.

Located across the street from the Bicentennial Mall, this large indoor farmers' market has 100 farm stalls, as well as 100 flea-market stalls. There are also more than a dozen prepared-food vendors and gourmet- and imported-food stalls, selling everything from Jamaican meat patties to hundreds of different hot sauces. The market is open daily 8am to 7pm in summer, 9am to 6pm the rest of the year.

The place to shop for ultra-fresh produce or that exotic ingredient you're not sure how to pronounce.

In Short
Heaping piles of turnip greens, Bradley tomatoes, crisp okra and fresh melons create an earthy riot of scents and sights. All the while, vendors dispense age-old cooking tips and...

A great place to stop for a quick bite to eat. Not fancy but a few good places to eat. It is one of the stops off the trolley. We didn't see many other places to stop for lunch besides the Farmer's Market..

Got a free bus ride to visit this but it was Sunday and not so many stalls but what was there was great and had unusual artisan type products. Loads places to eat and drink indoors with variety of foods.

Pleasant but brief visit, this is a fairly small market with an even smaller selection of fresh produce, a food court which had some interesting options, a large Indian grocery store, and a craft/flea market with he usual assortment of jewelry, soaps, lotions, tee shirts,...

We drove over to visit in November on our way out of town but in walking into the area there were hardly any vendors and none of the booths or food stands were open. Maybe we just caught it in a down time over the...
