Love, love, love this theater! The flicks are well-chosen, the atmosphere is vintage, the refreshments are unique and well-priced. Even the cost of your ticket is low. You gotta go if you haven't been already!

Olde timey theater in the heart of Ghent. One big screen. Great movies, documentaries, and often there are events with discussion afterwords. Nice snack bar with the usual plus juices, baklava, baked goods. Friendly. A neighborhood treasure. Walking distance from many restaurants on Colley Ave.

A fantastic local theater! It's on Colley in Ghent, right next to some great restaurants and bars. I go to the movies all the time, and the Naro is one of the few theaters I've ever been to that gets me as excited as I was going to the movies as a little kid.

I love seeing films at the Naro. Naro audiences value movies and understand how to behave in a movie theater. No one talks, or has their cell phone on, or texts during the movie. If it is a particularly good film, they applaud. I also love their popcorn. It tastes so much better than popcorn you buy at chain theaters....

Really, this is where you go to see the best in film. The balcony is cozy, the seats everywhere cushy, and the popcorn is fantastic. Also available are brownies and baked goods and all sorts of fun stuff.

Naro Expanded Cinema is a charming old-fashioned cinema with an always eclectic line-up. From independent indie films to documentaries, it shows left-field theater, usually neglected by multi-plexes. The cinema itself is a little dated and run-down but for many loyal patrons, that's part of its charm. Check the website for details of upcoming shows.
