If you want good southern food in a nice family atmosphere this is the place to go. The food is always fresh and service is great and friendly. We go here at least once a month to get our Nanny's fix.

On our drive back from Siesta Key FL, we stopped in
Petersburg VA. We walked across the street for dinner to Nannys. It was excellent! Ham, brisket, shredded pork, ribs, fried chicken, cornbread, and some items us northerners didn't know what they were. Everything was excellent. Did I mention it was all you could eat? It was $12.99. Get there...

Our hotel clerk recommended Nanny's for supper in Petersburg, VA. It was a crowded, busy & obviously popular local restaurant. The carving station featured roast beef & ham, both tender, with a great variety of southern cooking.
