We had a great time!

We had a great time! Based on the other comments we were worried about going, but purchased the tickets on Living Social and decided it was worth a try.

It was held in a banquet room at a hotel, so the food was what you would expect from a typical wedding reception. We actually all loved the cup of vegetable soup, we thought it had quite a bit of flavor. The rest of the food was great for the price. Two people at out table had the salmon and said it was really good and would definitely get it again.

The show was really good, we loved the constant interaction with the characters and how they immediately were in character. We did go to a show when there was a group of Girl Scouts, that was a bit disappointing since there were quite a few sexual innuendos and I think there were quite a few jokes that were downplayed to keep it clean. They kept it in good fun though and were able to make jokes about the girls being there. Our entire table seemed to be the only one interacting with the characters so it made for some good laughs.

If you are going and expecting to be served a meal while you sit back and just watch a show, then this is not for you. The point of this show is for constant interaction from the guests. The more you play along and pick on the characters, the more fun everyone has. We spent the entire night laughing.

Mystery Dinner Playhouse

Hey Jim,

Just wanted to thank you for the great night the ladies had, we were in attendance at the end of September – 18 ladies from Canada. It was a blast. We scapbook together once a year as you know…I may have told you that. I am putting some pics together for our scrapbooks from this show. I have to say that the cat playing Jack, the detective is so talented. Really, he stole the show. You are so lucky to have him:)

Thanks again!

The experience was terrible from start to finish. As we were checking in one of the servers/actors because very agitated by the fact that my friend was deciding between 2 food options. He was talking very loudly while we were still near the table about how terrible it was to deal with people. To top it off there were only...

My husband and I went here for Valentine's Day. The show was entertaining but the venue was a little cheesy. The food was good but there wasn't enough to satisfy my husband. All in all we were glad we went.

The wife and I enjoyed this. The food is pretty good, but not superior. The local actors really work hard, and you appreciate their effort. Our group was attractive and expert at this, it appeared they have worked together for a long time. Bring the kids.

I had never been to a mystery dinner theater before, so have nothing to compare this to. The actors are very good and quite funny. They even converse with you as you are checking in. I was surprised at the low number in attendance the night we attended (16), but it was a couple of weeks before Memorial Day, so...
