History of Morrissett Funeral Home:

In 1870, shortly after the end of the Civil War, Beverly H. Morrissett, a Southside cabinet maker, established B.H. Morrissett Funeral Home at No. 17 W 17th Street in Manchester, Virginia, now South Richmond. His sons, William and Jefferson, joined the business in 1893 and 1894 respectively and, with this addition the name was changed to B.H....
