I was nearly ignored on check-in, the room's toilet seat was broken so badly that my 8 year old fell right off of it, the pool had a disguisting film on the surface so I had to tell the kids they couldn't swim, and there were holes in the sheets. We were here for 3 nights with 5 families and we really liked the hotel (our trip was just $70/room/night).
Don't listen to people who say its attached to a mall and thats a problem. Thats a great convenience. Sometimes people just love to criticize. It is minutes from VA beach or Norfolk.

Horrible, terrible! We went as a group for the Final Destination Cheerleading Competition and it was horrible. The hotel (if that is what you wanna call it) is attached to this low budget mall where people can just walk right inside. We had a whole group of young girls and it was very uncomforatable. I thought the staff was uber helpful. The hotel itsself is clean, refurnished (the gym was AWESOME and brand new), all in all a standard hotel, but the staff was the best part.
