I'm washing my hair for the first time since I got it done and I'm pretty sure the stylist slide some relaxer in my natural hair. After two washes I smell a chemical smell, my scalp is burning and my curl pattern is gone. I haven't had a perm in 8 years and now against my will my hair is permed. Definitely will get your hair straight. HOWEVER my hair is natural and has NOT gone back to it's original texture after 4-5 washes. Which I assume is from heat damage. If you are just looking for results its a go...but if you are concerned with hair protection and care...I don't know. Move from hampton to Newport News and didnt really feel like going back to my spot in hampton today so decided to try Monicas. Definitely got my money's worth. My natural hair is blown out and looks beautiful! I'll be here again :-)
