A few years ago, Val Pak and Money clip were the way to go. Each company had a good product and direct mail was a great way to reach potential customers. 2 years ago I figured I'd try money clip again.

It failed miserably..unfortunately, their rep had told me that I could ""lock in"" at the current price by signing the contract early. I tried to get out of it saying that the other ads didn't work, I normally get a return on investment, this time it did not happen at all. I mean I didn't even break even at the very least. Now, I was subject to paying this exorbitant amount every other...

It sounds like Cahd555 didn't pay for his first ad and I'm sure it went to the area that you agreed to. If you we're offered triple the ads, I guess you should have paid for the first ad. Sounds like you were getting a fair deal and just wanted to steal ads from them.

Alex Morgan solicited us from Money Clip. We told him we were not interested and he told the receptionist that we are fu...ng dumb business men.
That's going to get them our business.............

I place a half page ad in this book that was to go to the customers around my business and the sales rep placed it in another zip code and we did not get one responce to their ad!
They called me back and i told them i would never run a ad with them again .
They told me they would give me a deal and put me in 3 books 100.000
Homes. I had a signed agreement with them that they would do that and we could pay the invoice on december 15 they called 2 days before the ad was to run and told me i had to pay to have the ad run . And pulled the ad just before a major holiday !!!!!!!!
