I found the restaurant through the Best of Hampton Roads site and man was this thing wrong. They have to much sauce on their pork. The taste was not bad, but it reminded me of the food they serve in an old folks home, like it had been sitting out under some heat lamp for hours. The waitress had a stench of cigarette smoke & tequila, not very appetizing. I went into the bathroom to wash my hands, no soap. The place looks good, has that old southern feel, nice stage, neat looking bar, looks like it be a good place to watch some local music, but not a place i'm bringing my family to, and without question no Best of barbeque. I'll say it's best of -smelly hungover waitress who serves over drenched in sauce pork that has been left out under a heat lamp for hours-
if you like waiting 30 minutes for charred, over-cooked burgers. We went here for lunch and that's what we got. My burger tasted like the burnt scrapings from the grill. Delicious!

There pork is from Sysco and the only thing that makes mojo any better than the other bars in ocean view is that the bathrooms are nicer.
Enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich slaw and fries $7.95. Service was good at the time I visited. While the sweet tea was good I prefer unsweetened tea. Wish it was offers here. Thee several interesting craft beers on tap
Luckily I'm standing here BUT, my credit card has been just sitting here for ten minutes!!!!! Waitress set it there and walked away....wtf See my picture
The pulled pork is very good and the beef brisket tender! We also had the chicken which was moist and generally quite good.
This is not the kind of place you would bring your children to but for carry out it is fine. Music way to loud to even hear the wait staff.
A fun place to hang out...I love Mojo Bones! Great food, good vibes, & live music!! Joy is an amazing bartender and a beautiful spirit!!!
Katie our bartender was super friendly and fun throughout the night. Ribs are the best in Norfolk!!! Definitely stop by and grub on the best BBQ and delightful Craft beer!!!!
