I made reservations at Mix for a family dinner on New Year's Eve. The place was very noisy and service was extremely slow. The type face on the menu was so tiny it was nearly impossible to read. My husband ordered Peruvian ceviche, and was told after the server went to place the order that they no longer served it. Why was it on the menu, then? My stepson ordered a French dip sandwich. I would not recommend this restaurant. Dining area was empty on a Saturday night; not what you want to see. The bar was busy but there was only one bartender. Don't go here, there are many other choices in Silver Spring

I've been to Mix twice and have been pleased both times. The food is delicious and it is a good mix of sit-down restaurant and sports bar. The service is a bit slow but the waiters/waitress are very nice. I would recommend to a friend!

Extremely loud booming club music blared throughout dinner. Conversation nearly impossible. They were out of some items on the menu. Wait staff pleasant; not well trained.

We had a hard time making reservations for a family dinner and happened upon this place. The food was awesome(crab dip... so good!!). Wait staff was super professional and nice. The manager checked on us and he was very nice. There were other families there with children who were seated for dinner, and a few guys seated at the bar watching football. I would definitely come back here for dinner...
