Midtown Café has been a Nashville hit for years, even if its high-powered music business clientele may fall in and out of fashion over time. The small space sits tucked inside the hustle and bustle of Midtown, but locals, stars and politicians alike know where to find it for a quiet hideaway and pre-show meal with shuttle service to the theatres and music venues. Old standards such as the lemon...

Our meal was excellent, the wine notably good, but the best part was the charming and thoughtful service!

Midtown Cafe never disappoints. Great food, great service, great atmosphere! One of our favorite places to dine.

I love the food and service at Midtown. The restaurant building is tired and needs some work but the food and service is so good, it barely matters. I also love Midtown's shuttle to/from downtown venues.

The food was good, but not great. The crab cakes had a little too much bread, the veal was a small portion and a tad chewy, but good flavor. Nice ambiance and not too loud. Excellent wait staff.

W always enjoy this restaurant for the refined atmosphere but it was noisier than ususal last night. However the service and food were excellent as always. We chose the grouper and the trout and the molten chocolate cake. All great.
